@PNS - I agree, we do meddle far too much in other elections and in a far greater capacity than what has been publicly exposed about the 2016 election. The evidence in the public report is quite weak.

Doc, you're right. Lawyers are easy targets. It's the fault of a small percentage of attorneys who drag down the whole profession. I have a couple of in-laws who are labor lawyers. They are two of the most wonderful people I've ever met.

The vast majority of young law students have a very Pollyanna view of their ability to change the world by bringing justice to the downtrodden. Many of them are sincere and do exactly that, and work very hard for very little money.

I graduated and now provide one of the incomes that drags the average attorney income to the high side. in reality so many attorneys make less than $50k/year... it's really a bifurcated statistic, two peak average incomes for attorneys.

Valid points. I'd also point out that my rich in-law lawyers raised a daughter who is also a lawyer. She works as an advocate for low income families. She is able to do this, thanks to the trust fund eatablished by her mercenary parents.
