Good bad or indifferent, you have to give the first quarter to Obama. Trump's effect on the economy has just begun.

He took credit for unemployment numbers with just three week in office. When unemployment was steady raising in 09, talking head were blaming 44 not 43. Wasn't the growth higher 44 last qt.

Taking credit is different than deserving credit. He didn't deserve credit for the unemployment #s.

Has there ever been an actual study done that shows when a specific President's policies start showing as the dominant influence in statistics. I always guessed two years... But would like to see an opinion of someone who has done more research

That'd probably depend on the exact policies implemented. Some are short term, some are long term.

True, so implementation of legislation would have to be considered

And in some cases, you also have to wait for the cascading effect of laws enacted by the states in response to some federal legislation...then wait for it all to have full effect. The bigger the law the slower it all is. Look how long the ACA took

to fully kick in, lots of hiccups in full public view. Similarly, newly or differently enforced laws on the books now...like the new crackdown on drugs...can have an effect more quickly as the prisons fill with 100% taxpayer supported prisoners.

Evil, does that mean you're okay with total legalization and use of any drug? . if legalized can we than go OTC and eliminate pharmacies?
