Did you know it doesn't cross reservation land? Did you know it will create over 10,000 permanent jobs? Did you know it will lessen dependency on middle East oil? Did you know it will bring in millions of dollars for local economies?

The United States is already the highest oil producing country in the world, dependency on middle eastern oil is already the lowest in the nation in 40 years. Stop listening to fake right wing media spin doctors.

how many of those pipeline were built for and by a foreign country, just for their benefit. To sell the refined sand tar to china. Typical response from sexual predator in chief supporters.

I don't know where the 10k job figure came from. I believe that to be on the high side even during construction. Permanent jobs are a miniscule figure. If pipelines required large workforces to operate/maintain them, they wouldn't be built.

It all depends on whether or not you see oul independence as a good thing. When we sell our crude on the world market, we replace it with crude from other countries. Some not so friendly. It alsob tends to make oil prices in America more volatile.

There is a potential for some serious environmental damage. Most pipeline disasters occur in very old or very new pipelines. Throw in the recent outbreak of earthquakes in areas associated with fracking and you up the ante.

The net jobs impact will be decidedly negative. That's the primary reason to build a pipeline. Under most circumstances, I'd applaude that type of productivity increase. In this case, it's a productive way to cost us money.
