"just wanna let you know, the back of yo' head is ridicculus"
States are being called quickly... Lookin like Hillary's gonna get blowouts in GA and VA. Bernie of course gets his white, low delegate Vermont.
Bernie didn't stand a chance with Southern Dems but it's all about the margins. Two southern states being called so quickly doesn't look good.
maybe they only voted for hillary because shes black.
the moneybomb yesterday gives him the ability to contribute forward, though.
he raised more in 1 day than Rubio raised in all January.
It gives him the ability to stay in the race despite a snowballing delegate deficit.
He could just carry on til the end, it would be interesting
Cue some of the angrier Berniebros saying "those" people don't know what's good for them...
his more favorable states are later.
cue smug vm conservative: "but killer Mike"
Not a very diverse coalition for a would-be Democratic nominee if you ask me.
I mean coming out of nowhere like he did, raising the cash, actually doing all this crap at his age is pretty impressive, it's just not gonna be enough.
he continues to destroy the clown car candidates head to head. by that measure, he's absolutely electable if he pulls ahead of HRC
But it's a pretty poor measure, especially for someone who has only *just* gotten national attention. The Head to Head polls with Hillary and Trump are still early but at least those two are well-known nationally.
And more importantly *have been* well-known nationally.
Anyway, with the whiter than white coalition that Sanders has put together ... I don't think he's gonna pull ahead of HRC. You gotta hope for some blowup with her scandals.
Fair point that it is a poor measure. However, the most common thing that people associate with Sanders is "socialist". So even without people knowing that much about him, he still has that knock against him.
You may be right on the coalition. Time will tell, but the deck is stacked against Sanders in more ways than one.
That said, those damn e-mails are a problem that aren't getting as much press as it should.
One thing is for certain. If HRC gets the nomination and wins, there will be 8 years of investigative hearings. Fun.
The Sanders people have made inroads changing that to Democratic Socialist and that's basically what it is now. However, one reason he hates talking about foreign policy is some of his past support of regular tolitarian socialist regimes.
only way Hillary gets called out if she goes against Trump. the other weak @ss on R side wont do it. plus Trump vs Hillary thats pay-per-view at its best

All this would be transformed from TL;DR to negative ads. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/28/when-bernie-sanders-thought-castro-and-the-sandinistas-could-teach-america-a-lesson.html
I love the crowd funding aspect of Bernie's campaign. That's the way it should be done. If a candidate can't get a couple of million people to contribute, they have no business running in a national election.

HRC has her emails, Trump has his Trump university, the Polish workers, and the golf club lawsuit. They both have some splainin' to do.
Likely. I suspect his response to why he had those views will mirror his views on economic inequality here.
Unclear how effective the "red scare" would be though. It's been ineffective the last 8 years.
Bernie, Trump and Jeb have proven SuperPacs matter much less than we thought.
Is it really a "red scare" if they show you actually actively apologizing for tolitarian regimes?
Also attacks the whole consistency thing with Sanders, definitely don't wanna be consistent with that one.
Depends on how he justifies his support. If the Sandininstas were brought up, I suspect the discussion would circle back to his comments on the CIA (which were heavily involved in Nicaragua and other regimes).
Regime change is pretty popular nowadays...
TRUMP 2016! Hes killing it
What exactly do you like about Trump? Is it just the anti establishment sentiment? Does he have an actual, workable, realistic plan for anything?
That would be the escape hatch I think. The problem is Sanders went further than just being against regime change.
Otherwise why not hit Hillary from that angle?
For starters, other than the Wall Street ties, he's not really attempting to hit HRC at all.
maybe he wants secretary of labor : )
he will call BS in these horrible politicians. because of hes business around the world and especially listening to interviews with his son way before he decided to run. Trumps isnt what the Media and Establishment paint him to be.
Holly Springs, MS 38635, USA
then what is he?
Is he conservative?
didnt your boy endorse him?
I thought these emails to McArdle were quite interesting. http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2016-02-29/the-die-hard-republicans-who-say-nevertrump
I think McArdle is married, Drew. ;)
That said, the schadenfreude on the Dem side over Trumpageddon is just as satisfying.
I went to the R caucus this year. Now that was interesting, hearing the trash talking from the other side!
Downtown West, Minneapolis, MN
I am enjoying my own schadenfreude over all this, since I don't yet have to make a terrible decision on voting. Figured I'd go support the R guy I'd vote for over Hillary.
But I ended up voting for Trump cuz it became apparent to me that Rubio was actually going to carry that crowd. Turns out MN was alone there. Too bad for the R party...They waited too long to pick their boy.
Now no one but Trump has a snowball's chance in hell to get the R nomination. Mittens Romney can yell all he wants...votes can't be ignored.
And who is Romney in all of this? The voice of authority for...losers, I guess. Why would anyone actually listen to the guy. Obviously he has no clue how to win this election.
Lakeland, MN, USA
Tonight's debate is going to an epic dumpster fire.
Side note: the Make Donald Drumpf Again chrome extension is hilarious!
So the new Hail Mary strategy to try to avoid a Trump nomination is now to *avoid* candidates dropping out so that Trump can't get a majority of delegates and it goes to a convention.
The problem with that is that the coming delegate allocation rules on the R-side have a lot of winner-take-most or winner-take-all states I think.
thats their dirty plan. look at the dirty thing they did to Ron Paul and his Delegates. Regardless who you like on D side the Super Delegates are just as Dirty they dont trust the voters. i cant understand why no one on both sides arent in a outrage
Because regardless how you feel about Hillary,Bernie ect. The fact the Establishment can say F u to the voters is a outrage
Glad you're back. Is Trump a conservative? Why do you support him?
Hes as Conservative as Romney,McCain,Bush Jr,Rubio and Cruz. Because The Establishment hates him and doing anything to stop him. its not his policies its the fact they cant control him. the Establishment has crammed horrible candidates down our
throats. Democrats happily go lock and step, but Trump success is the Parties fault. Their not Conservative, small Government. their Big Government,War Mongering, support the Military Industrial Complex, support Crony Capitalism, Anti-Liberty. So maybe
after 4 yrs of Trump maybe theyll stop fighting the voters and give the Candidate we want. a true Conservative with Libertarian leanings
How would you know what they say to the voters Free? You don't vote.
im confused that free thinker is a christian social conservative that doesnt think the republican party represents him so he goes for the secular pandering billionaire just because hes an ####.
"Hes as Conservative as Romney,McCain,Bush Jr,Rubio and Cruz." Is he? Really?
The "Establishment" only screws us when we allow them to. BY NOT VOTING. You idiot. Every candidate begs people to please just actually vote. Turnout easily swings an election. Look at Obama!
YOU GOT OBAMA ELECTED BY STAYING HOME ON ELECTION NIGHT. And stop fúcking complaining about all of this party crap, you help it right along.
So your support for Trump is based more on being anti establishment than pro Trump? You can't think he's a conservative, small government guy.You understand that hes also a war mongering crony capitalist anti liberty.
You haven't mentioned any proposal or policy of his that would "fix" or better our country. Maybe because he really hasnt mentioned any either.
I think he wants the breakup of the republican party to have a third party that is closer in line with his beliefs. he doesnt care about sanders or trump.
penis reference 5 minutes in... this primary is awesome
The kids in the background making faces hhaa
no he benefited from Crony Capitalism that the Republican and Democrats have created. Every candidate in past ran on small Government, less spending more jobs, ect and here we are. Under Bush and Obama Manufacturing majority gone. Republicans actually
spent more than Democrats suprised me too. Government size shy rocketed under Bush and Obama. NDAA,Patriot Act,Warrantless Wiretapping,Data collection Bush and Obama. shall i go on?? So Dont try that hes not B.S. Because Bush,Romney,McCain and the
did so much for us. Middle Class has shrunk, wages Stagnant,Bailouts under Bush and Obama. Sorry i dont fear Trump as President,Worse case senerio he causes grid lock for 4 yrs and Americans can get a break
That's not the worst case scenario.
I don't trust a guy with a temperament like Trump's with any kind of foreign diplomacy, he could do a ton of damage there.
That was Doc's criticism, I think she's absolutely right.
Although I guess you could hope this is all a theater to get the nomination and then he'll not be like that, but I don't know.
Trump is about as unstable and vindictive as Kim Jong Un.
I trust neither with nuclear weapons.
But you still havent said why you support Trump. Only why you dont support others. This question isnt about bush or obama or romney or mccain or anyone else youve mentioned. Its about trump.
im not even mad about bernie losing, im thoroughly enjoying trump destroy the façade of credibility the party pretends it has. i doubt it will destroy them, but it completely destroys any argument that theyre not morons.
Now Drumpf is insulting Bill O'Reilly to his face.
Kasich seemed pretty good tonight but he hasn't a chance in hell.
It's tough being the only adult on the stage.
Its total about others thats what your not getting. Establishment loves Rubio and Ok with Cruz.D&R hates Trump that alone is worth it. Policies??? Seriously??? Most politicians put their "Policies" on the site or say what their going to do. But never
do it. Trump could Copy and paste off a old Candidates site wont make a difference. like i said hopefully Trump will cause grid lock for 4 yrs give us a break.
What their policies, whats did they say, thats a good speech. Blah Blah Blah. lip service is what we always get with most politicians.
@ Dr evil you got Obama elected your from the older generation that let it get this far.NOW US THE YOUNGER GENERATION IS TRYING TO FIX THE CRAP YALL STARTED!! So stick that crap up your @ss. The Two Party System is powerful because the idiots from
Also if you want gridlock, why not Cruz?
the last generation. Republicans screaming smaller Government and less spending you idiots keep following like Democrats for Hillary. Yet Republican have out spent Tax and Spend Democrats. HOWS THAT POSSIBLE!!!!! But they have,so your the problem and
left unchecked you will keep voting in Bush Jr and Bush 2.0 (Obama)
why are you as a christian conservative not voting for the christian conservative? i doubt its because trump has a record of fiscal conservatism, he doesnt.
i mean, i guess if bruce jenner supports ted cruz its not all cut and dry like that, i just dont understand the party of fruits and nuts.
Conservative and Republican Oxymoron. Republican party isnt conservative is another branch of the Democrat party or vise versa. Its a illusion that you have a choice
im a Christian but a Small L Libertarian
So how do you support an authoritarian
You are nothing if you don't vote, ásshole. You are part of every problem you blame others for. You got Obama elected. So stop preaching idiot. You have nothing worthwhile to say.
This very well may be the first election I don't vote in.

I love when a lawyer tells someone they are wrong when lawyers will watch one person kill another and as long as they have enough money or are famous
they will stand in front of a judge or jury and tell them how great they are.
at this point we need someone to at least try to fix what is wrong with Washington DC
I don't know where you get off on the lawyer thing, but anyway I won't every step foot in a courtroom of I am really good at my job. That's not my thing.
Reciting tired stereotypes isn't helpful anyway. If I were a cop would you assume I beat innocent black people? If I were a priest would you assume I fúck young boys?
Rob I feel you. But we have to figure something out. Many months to go before November...lots of opportunities for new developments.
By the way, PNS, since you seem pitifully unaware of Constitutional issues surrounding attorney representation, allow me to explain. Every person accused of a crime that could result in incarceration has a Constitutional right to an attorney.
Further, it is every attorney's absolute duty to represent their client zealously. Imagine yourself falsely accused of a heinous crime, such as rape. Don't you think you would be glad for an attorney who represented you vigorously, doing everything
possible to put on a strong case for you? It's a tough job for the attorney representing an accused terrorist, rapist, child molester etc. But just like true free speech is a great virtue of our country, so is it a great virtue that each and every
citizen of our country has this guarantee. So yes, sometimes a vigorous case put on by an attorney can look crass etc. But the point is you have to do everything the law allows to get the best result for your client. THINK about it!
It's a cheap shot at the attorney to say they're just being ássholes or something. Mostly they are really invested in the outcome in their hearts. Even true for me, just because I don't go to court doesn't mean I don't carry out that responsibility
looks like kansas has destroyed my critique of them and hillary clinton that i have been using since she was in the senate.
I used to say "i don't like hillary because she tries to ban flag burning and grand theft auto. and that's just to appeal to white people in kansas."
looks like i have to pick a new place.
and yes dr evil i would assume those things if you were a cop or a priest.
that's pretty darn stupid if you're serious kid
Well like I said, I won't ever step foot in a courtroom if I do my job well. So the whole rich-ássholes-held-up-like-heroes thing isn't relevant to me.
Don't get me wrong...I work for plenty of ássholes. And they better have money because I don't work for free. But I don't work for their personal causes...It's all about the technology. I'll always be a scientist first.
So when should Bernie drop out... Cuz he's got the cash to keep on going until the very end... But is that wise to do?
thats the question you should be asking your side, its not like sanders and clinton have some sort of bloodsport going on. sanders supporters may not trust clinton, but they dont hate her. now the republican side....
Went completely nuts
If Sanders screws up and schedules his dropout too early *or* too late, he could hurt Hillary in the general whether he wants to or not.
What? Over? Did you say "over"?
Nothing is over until we decide it is!
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Futile and stupid gesture time?
Let's do it!
The huge turnout in the Republican primaries is all about Trump: those coming out to vote for him, and a sizable chunk also showing up to not vote for him, imo. The latter was evident in the MN caucus.
It was pretty clear a lot of folks were there specifically to vote for anyone but Trump. Rubio has been pretty popular around here...Not too surprising he got his one and only win here.
He just pulled in Puerto Rico, that's *Major* ;)
He must be so proud
